SEED structures the design and delivery of courses, programmes, platforms, workflows, services, data systems and operating solutions within Consult → Build → Amplify.
Scope

This representative pathway is grounded in the site's documented faculty-development and applied-learning work. It explains how the process is used without claiming an outcome that has not been independently measured.
Consult: define the practice
An education institution wants faculty to use a digital mathematics tool in real teaching, not simply attend a demonstration. We clarify the learner setting, the practice to be developed, the people who will use it and the evidence that would show application. Existing constraints, confidence and support are discussed before a programme is designed.
Build: learn through authentic work
The response combines explanation, guided use and practice with tasks that resemble the classroom context. Facilitators observe what participants can do, adjust support and make space for questions that emerge from use. In CA-PRAXIS™ terms, attendance is not treated as proof; the focus stays on demonstrated practice and the next level of independence.
Amplify: transfer ownership
Evidence is reviewed with the institution, next steps are agreed and a continuity owner is identified. Resources, routines and decision rights are left with the client so the work can continue beyond a single workshop. If a platform, workflow or data view is also required, SEED structures that solution while CA-PRAXIS™ keeps capability ownership explicit.

How do we choose the right way of working?
Is Consult → Build → Amplify a fixed sequence?
It is a shared process, not a rigid package. Activities can overlap or repeat as evidence emerges. The important discipline is to understand the context before building, and to plan adoption and ownership rather than stopping at delivery.
When is CA-PRAXIS™ appropriate?
We use CA-PRAXIS™ when the intended result includes stronger client capability that must be demonstrated in practice. The framework defines the capability, diagnoses the starting point, supports authentic practice, verifies evidence and establishes continuity.
When is SEED appropriate?
SEED is used to structure the design and delivery of a solution such as a course, programme, platform, workflow, service, data system or operating model. It keeps scope, stakeholder engagement, execution and delivery connected.
Can one engagement use both approaches?
Yes. A technology or programme build may require SEED for the solution and CA-PRAXIS™ for the people who must use and sustain it. We agree the combination from the outcome, evidence and ownership required, rather than applying both by default.
